M - lead

I'm not sending this back to Marcie.  In fact, I'm not taking it off my wall.  I think it looks really good here ... don't you agree!

Ok.  When we got this at TAC and opened it up ... you should have heard the squeals!  This was a sign I had gotten on clearance at Hobby Lobby and I sent it to Marcie.  She could use it if it inspired her.  Needless to say ... she was INSPIRED!

M2

I LOVE this!  First the paper piecing on the little Mabelle girl is FANTASTIC!  Now check out the detail on the sunflower!  Each of those petals is cut out and hand set in place to achieve a perfect 3D look.  Marcie added Crystal Lacquer to the center of the flower and to the little girls shoes for some POP and POLISH.

M3

Check out the CLEAR LETTERS!  Marcie stamped our alphabet onto clear acetate, let it dry, cut it out and added it to her layout.

Also notice how Marcie has used her WHITE pen to personalize this incredible piece of art.

M4

Do you see the stamped 'star-burst' flower image on the blue?!  LOVE it!  Again notice how Marcie makes 3D embellishments.  Her leaves jump right off the page.

And I LOVE how she stamps letters, cuts them out, and adds them to her layout.  Another great touch that polishes the piece.

M5

Marcie stamped underneath the layer of acetate here (directly onto the printed Hip Hop paper) and then adds more embellishments to it.  Notice the green leaves UNDER the acetate and then the 3D leaves on TOP of the acetate.

M6

Marcie used a simple white bow to separate her board and designate which area is for notes.  Notice the striped HIP HOP strip under the white bow.  This also helps to subtly connect the sides.  And don't you LOVE how Marcie allowed the acetate to flow onto the BLUE Hip Hop.  It is so refined and so polished!

M7

Check out this detail!  You can use your Crop-a-dile to punch through the tin and set your hardware.  The beading Marcie has added is a fabulous touch that really personalizes this piece.

M9

Marcie even punched a hole through the cap of the marker so she could cleanly attach it to her board.  How AWESOME is that!

M10

Add magnets to the back of the flowers ... we can do that!

M11

LOVE this next piece!  Remember that you can PRINT onto your papers!

M12

Here is the back of the board.
