Mel lead

So tell me the truth ... did you figure it out?!

How FABULOUS is this!  I LOVE this little planter!  And I know that the skewers were designed to be plant pokes, however, I'd even use them for drink skewers!  They are DARLING!

Here is a peak at the other side of the planter:

Now look at some of the details!

I LOVE how Melanie incorporated our hardware!  And also notice how she stippled Burnt Umber Ink along each of the cardstock edges.  What a GORGEOUS touch!

I love Melanie's idea of using this as a planter.  What a GREAT way to give a gift!  I think, however, I'd end up keeping this gift (if I had made it) and I'd use it as a pencil holder at my computer!

Wouldn't this be a FUN teacher's gift for the start of a new school year!  You could fill it with pencils, rulers and other 'teachers tools' that kids always need in emergency situations.

I think another great gift idea would be for Sunday School teachers!  They are so often forgotten and this could easily be filled with sweets or cookies or something yummy ... just to say thank you!

Melanie, this planter is so FABULOUS!  And I love thinking about all of the great ways it can be used!
