Halloween ~ Frankenstein Candy Tin

How darling is this!  I wanted to make a cute little gift that I could easily pass along to special people this month and this is it!

I took my images from our Trick or Treaters stamp set and colored them in with my Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils.

I stamped them on white cardstock.  Punched them out with my Blue Clever Lever Circle punch and stippled black ink around the edges.

Next I punched out a piece of black cardstock with my Pink Scallop Clever Lever Punch.  You can see that I embossed our Fabulous Flourishes on my black cardstock with my VersaMark Pad and Transcendence Embossing Powder.

Then I attached my image to the black cardstock with Pop Dots.

Isn't he darling!  I was going to attach these pieces onto peppermint patties ... but I couldn't bring myself to do it!  I didn't want the images going straight to the trash can after the candy was gone.  {smiles}.

So instead ... I pulled out these little black tins that I had found at our local discount store.  They were 2 for $1.00 so I grabbed a few sets.  I attached a Pop Dot and then my image.

Isn't this darling!  And harder to throw away ... I hope!

All that I had left to do was fill with goodies and then deliver to someone special.  A simple little treat that lets someone know that they are thought of!

Happy Paper Crafting!'

  2. I actually picked this up from Julie Griffith. Julie is known (by us at TAC) for her embossing! She does it in a such a subtle and classy way ~ I've started and can't seem to stop! It's a little detail that adds SOOOO much!
