Cup of love cat

I have had this set for quite some time, but hadn't used it.  So when the opportunity came up to be Guest Designer - I immediately selected this stamp set!

This card is using one of our double-sided paper collections - Emma - along with the coordinating cardstock and ribbon.  I did paper piecing for the mug - then colored the cat with COPICs.  I cut out the image, and popped it up with foam tape, to give the card some dimension. I cut out the cardstock for the main image and the layering piece using the Large Labels Nestabilities set.  I also did some sponging around the edges for the final touch!

Cup of love flowers

This card has lots of layers - I just think layers are FUN!  The patterned paper and cardstock for this card comes from our Angelee collection.  Once again, I did paper piecing for the mug.  Then I took our Stardust Clear Gelly Pen, and highlighted the swirls and dots!  Using the masking technique, I added the flowers (stamped with Lavender Sachet Palette ink).  For the centers of the flowers, I used the yellow pen from the Stardust Glittering Gel Pen collection.  I used one of the tags from the Angelee collection for the sentiment, set in a Pewter Eyelet, and used one of my favorite embellishments - Scrappers Floss - for the final touch.  I added dimension under the tag by using foam tape.

 Cup of love bright

I decided to try something different on my third card with BRIGHT cardstock.  I like how it turned out!!!!  I used Grasshopper, Bumblebee and Tink Pink Bazzill cardstock from our Caboodles collection.  I colored with COPICs, then highlighted the dots with Glossy Accents.  I trimmed the Grasshopper cardstock using the Carl Deckle Scissors.  I did some sponging again, and then put all of the layers together!  Very simple card - but I think it really POPS with the bright colors!

Cup of love pen holder

I was having so much fun playing with this set - I just had to try some projects too!  This one is functional!  Although - I probably would need at least TEN of these for all of the coloring mediums that I own.  I used the masking technique, and then stamped the image using the Berry Blaze Kaleidacolor Pad.  I did some highlighting with Crystal Stickles, then taped all of the layers to the paint can I bought.  The cardstock I used for layering is Bazzill Grape and Hot Pink.  I added some bling with our Pink Gem Collection.

 Cup of love tea bags

This final project  is a cute little box - simple to put together.  Once again I used the Emma paper collection. The cardstock used is Bazill Ruby Red.  I punched the circles using the Giga Scalloped Circle punch, and the Mega Circle punch.  I colored the image with my COPICs - of course!  Then I cut it out, and adhered it to the front of the box.  I put a few tea bags in the box.  What a nice, little Get Well gift for someone feeling under the weather!

Happy Paper Crafting!
