#82 Ivy Lane One Layer Wonder Cards

I ordered my Ivy Lane Cardmaking Kit from CTMH and it arrived yesterday ... YAHOO!
This awesome kit includes all of the paper supplies and embellishments you to make 15 cards ~ 3 of each design and the detailed instructions as well.
But {yes, there is always a but} you know I have to re-create the entire kit! {smiles} I need to know what else a girl can do with this kit!
All of the projects in this kit utilize one of our Cricut cartridges ... which I do not have. So I decided to change things up a bit ...

create as many things as I can with this kit and maximize the supplies
included! So first I wanted to design some card layouts. CTMH has
already provided you with 3 great designs and the instructions needed to
easily replicate each of them ... now i want to show you more!
You should know that I HAD to get this kit because I LOVE the stamp set in it ... so I decided to make some one layer wonder cards so I could use these stamps I love so!

This card utilizes the GORGEOUS new Pear Ink Pad I just ordered. Talk about a JUICY pad ... holy smokes!

I tell you how much I LOVE stamping with my My Acrylix(tm) stamps!
They are AWESOME! Seriously ... after using clear stamps I don't think
I'll ever invest in volcanized rubber again.

how these elements go so nicely together! This Lagoon Ink Pad is one
of my favorites and came in my starter kit. All of the ink pads I've
received are nice and juicy ... no chance they'll be running dry anytime
soon!
You'll notice that I did decide to cut out this little flower ... I think this card works with and/or without the flower ... you decide! |

The
background stamp on this card is one of the main reasons I HAD to have
this set. It's absolutely GORGEOUS! And you may be surprised ... I'm
still okay with an image even though I don't stamp all of it
completely. It adds to the charm.
I pulled out my Memento Ink spots for this card. I'm not so familiar with the CTMH palette ~ nor do I have all of their inks so I went with something I knew. |
If
there is a stamp set in a paper collection and/or kit that you want ...
you better order it while you can! These stamps are exclusive and are
ONLY available for purchase while the collection/kit is available!
What's also great is that these stamps coordinate with our exclusive
Cricut cartridges ... another reason NOT to pass them up! I may not
have a Cricut yet but I'll be getting one ... and I'll want this stamp
set for sure!
