Introducing ... my FAVORITE collection ... Brushed:

Let me formally introduce you to my favorite Workshop on the Go in our NEW Inspirations Book ... that's right ... Brushed!  This collection is to die for ... I'm drooling just looking at it here.  {smiles}

This Brushed Workshop on the Go is the collection I have chosen to feature throughout the month of August.  That means I'm going to be using it to create cards, papercrafts and more ... even a FABULOUS canvas that you'll want to make at home.

Everything about this collection is luscious!  The papers, the palette, the embellies, the stamp set ... OH.HOW.I.LOVE this stamp set!  Everything about Brushed is simply ... Artsy Fabulous.

Did you notice the Washi Tape and the Metal Flowers that also come in this collection?  OH.MY.GOSH!  I am addicted!  One of the things I love most about CTMH Washi Tape is that it is a HUGE roll of tape ... because I'm a papercraft hoarder ... this is an important detail for women like me!

Have you ever fallen in LOVE with a sketch, a technique ... or even a product perhaps and it instantly becomes your go-to?  That happens to me all of the time!  I'd love to say that this design is my own original signature look ... but I actually was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest one day ... of course I CASE'd it ... and now I use it for EVERYTHING!  {smiles}

To keep this card super simple and super doable we're simply using our pigment inks and clear emboss powder.  Embossing can really kick your cards up a notch or two and this is no exception ... and let's not forget that we MUST.TOUCH.EVERYTHING embossed!  It's a sensory delight for sure.

So I've taken my 'signature' sketch and incorporated technique.  I LOVE how pigment inks and embossing allow you to expand your palette ... the result is rich, luscious, creamy colors that look like they should be behind the glass at a fancy chocolate boutique.

I was able to cut out my butterfly image with my coordinating Cricut cartridge, Artbooking, exclusively from CTMH.

TIP:  When I cut out my images I cut several and store them in the plastic folder with my stamp set.  If it's a favorite image ... I cut more.  I LOVE always having these pre-cut images ready to go when I need them!
