#150 What A Hoot: Touch Twin Markers

Wednesday, August 06, 2014

I know ... it's NOT Tuesday ... but I have SO many of these Stamp of the Month,
time sensitive cards ... I just can't help but expand Twin Touch Tuesday
into Wednesday as well this week!  LOL!

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY ... that's what this FABULOUS color palette makes me!
Fun, whimsical, flirty ... these colors ROCK!

TIP:  This card was SUPER easy to make because I used a pattern from my Originals book ...
and so far ... everyone who sees my cards in person are most drawn to those
designed using an Originals pattern as my inspiration ... WOW!  That's AWESOME!
This image is stamped and colored on WATERCOLOR paper!
There is a learning curve FOR SURE ... but I'm quickly falling in LOVE with
Twin Touch and Watercolor Paper!
TIP:  Color your BLING with your Twin Touch Markers!
Here I colored all of my clear BLING with my green ... LOVE!
Don't worry ... the ink dries VERY quickly!
KICK IT UP!  Details do that for you!
Use your Journaling Pen around the edges.
Add dots with your Twin Touch Markers
Cut your own shapes from the Shimmer Tape.
Distress by sanding!
DESIGN TIP:  Next time I'll leave some WHITE SPACE in my image!
For example ... a touch of WHITE SPACE on the owls tummy would have been PERFECT!
Coloring makes me HAPPY ... and coloring this image TOTALLY made me HAPPY!
Can you guess that by the fun color palette I chose?

Because I'd rather spend ALL of my time COLORING ... I've been going to my Originals book for my card patterns.  I'm walking through EVERY.SINGLE.PATTERN in this book and I'll be sharing each of the cards I create with these patterns ... perhaps not in order though!

This card was inspired by Originals Pattern:  Center View on page 16 of Originals.

NOTE:  Although I'm walking through the book in order ... you won't see the patterns in order.

If YOU would like to expand your designer skill set ... I highly recommend the Originals AND the  Wishes Books from CTMH!  You'll LOVE them and you'll learn along the way.
I am having SO.MUCH.FUN playing with this stamp and pairing it with new techniques and
product ... just wait till you see all of the things I'm doing with this set ... this month!
Add What A Hoot to your collection while you can ... IT.IS.FABULOUS!
