I've been busy with my Twin Touch Markers ... and thought this design
would be perfect for this weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge!

What I really love about challenges is that you can interpret the sketch how you like ... LOVE that artistic freedom for sure ... that's one of the things that make challenges inspiring and fun!

So ... this is my take on this weeks challenge.

When I colored these balloons my goal was to show you some various
options using your Twin Touch Markers.

For this image I used only 5 colors and my Colorless Blender:
  • YR26 Pastel Peach
  • YR29 Barely Beige
  • BR116 Clay
  • R140 Light Orange
  • RP198 Tender Pink
  • Colorless Blender

I used Glacier to sponge in my clouds and the cardstock was a CTMH special pack that I've been hoarding.  {smiles}

TIP:  Glacier is THE color to add to your palette this year!  It is perfect for everything!

This card features Originals pattern Flap Overlap on page 121 of Originals.
If you are looking at this pattern ... you can see that I obviously modified it ...
as I don't have a flap that opens up.  Again, I LOVE that you can take a sketch and
again interpret it how you like.  We all need that artistic freedom.

I used VersaMark and clear emboss powder to emboss the butterflies onto the turquoise cardstock.

Fancy Fold Balloon

I LOVE this color palette as much as I LOVE the pink and green palette above!
LOVE IT I say!  It just makes me happy.

This card features a card fold we did at Convention with a Halloween card ...
I thought it was perfect with this card as well.

For this card I used Twin Touch Markers:
  • B68  Turquoise Blue
  • BG61  Peacock Green
  • P282  Peony Purple
  • Colorless Blender
  • C3  Cool Gray Copic Marker

That's it ... basically only THREE COLORS!

Here is a top view of this card.
The BACK of the card is on the BOTTOM.

This card is super easy to make.
You need a 4 x 8 piece of cardstock.
Fold it in half so it measures 4 x 4.
Take the card front and fold it in half so that each of the card front panels now measures 2 x 4.  TADA!

I wish I would have popped up the 4 corner background on pop dots ...
but I realized that too late ... I was already adhered to the floral base.  BIG sigh.
Picture
I tried ... but I just couldn't handle this image without Liquid Glass ...
so ... I added Liquid Glass.  And it made me happy!  {smiles}
