Hilda Hippo Spinner Card by Mischelle Smith
EDITED:  Hilda was so unhappy with her first photo shoot ... we demanded re-takes!
Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge {CLICK HERE} is to 'Create A Scene' and I knew INSTANTLY what I wanted to do!  While perusing Jennifer McGuire's blog not long ago I was reminded of Spinner Cards!{CLICK HERE} I must say though ... I'd never seen them made the way she did in the post.  I'm used to the 'old school' version that I've done here today.

I LOVE this little Hippo {CLICK HERE SAFARI BALLET} and I knew she'd be perfect because she matches up FABULOUSLY for this back-to-back spinner card.  I even left a small border around her and she still matched up beautifully!
What I didn't realize was ... I'd be making a 5x7 sized card!  That wasn't part of my original plan, however, after using my square dies I knew I needed to make a more substantial size.  After all ... I don't want no flimsy cards!  {smiles}

So Hilda is at her dance recital performing her solo ... and she's beautiful on stage!  If you've never been to a dance recital it is all about the BLING ... so I framed the card front with silver sequins to frame the stage. The flamingo/floor are popped up using thin mounting foam.

And do you see those WONDERFUL bitty rhinestones on Hilda's tutu?  That is one of the products I could NEVER do without ... Bitty Sparkles ... they are also stars of the show!  {BITTY SPARKLES}

The thread I used to attach Hilda is Coats and Clarks Metallic Thread that I pick up at our local WalMart in the sewing department.  I LOVE this thread!!!
I hope you also see the gorgeous design on the aqua paper on the card front.  It KILLS me to use my designer papers ... and it KILLED me to use all that I used for this card ... but that's what makes this a first class production!

So ... a side note.  I wasn't planning on 're-enlisting' with CTMH, however, my old upline sent me an email with a new promo and I was there!  I'm so glad I did ... I'm having a ball!  I'm here just to have fun and will continue LOVING the products I LOVE regardless of whose they are!  What can I say ... I like being a 'free agent'.  LOL!

Anyway ... I'm telling everyone I know about these AWESOME frames {CLICK HERE}because they are AWESOME!
So MANY ways to display!
Regularly priced at $26.95 it's on CLEARANCE for $10.75!  While Supplies Last Only

So ... if you are kind enough to purchase one of these from me, or any order for that matter, I'll be sending you one of the GORGEOUS No Line Watercolor cards with Altenew's Beautiful Day stamp set.  I LOVE this set ... and ... it's NON-DENOMINATIONAL!  That's right, it is NOT a direct sales company stamp.  {BTW ~ if you visit my CTMH site and are kind  enough to order ... just say 'YES' when it asks if you'd like to  join Mischelle's Party}
Ready to become cards!

In addition to a FINISHED card {smiles} I thought it would be fun to send you a couple of the stamped and die cut images so YOU can try your hand at this fun technique ... or however you want to color them!

A little something for you to color!  Dies NOT included ... LOL!
I so LOVE this Altenew set! {smiles} And I LOVE coloring it!  If you want info about the finished card I did a post a not long ago that featured this card {CLICK HERE}.

I hope that my Hilda Hippo inspires YOU to create ... just like Jennifer's spinner cards inspired me.

That's a wrap!
