I LOVE this layout!  I had SO.MUCH.FUN creating this for Imagine Crafts 'Lapis' challenge.  I don't normally gravitate towards blues and purples ... unless it's a turquoise blue ... but I absolutely LOVE these colors in my Fireworks! sprays!

I started this layout with a coat of gesso and then poured my Fireworks! into small bowls and painted the color onto my pages.  With a small circle stencil I added Purple Iridescent Creative Medium in several places.  I LOVE the added texture and subtle interest you get with Creative Medium.
I continued playing with my background.  I used several stencils with my Bahama Blue and Tuxedo Black Memento Luxe inks.  Memento Luxe is quickly becoming one of my favorite inks.  I love its richness and depth.

I printed out my images and saying on to regular white cardstock.  My Vera Lane Studio images are perfect for me.  I can size them appropriately for any project I work on.  Most of the images were colored with Fireworks! and a waterbrush.  I used Copic markers for the yellow windows.  I also used my Copics on the words.
Of course I LOVE adding washi tape, Wedding Dress irRESISTible Texture Spray and white doodles!
I think this might be my favorite journal spread to date.  I LOVE the colors and whimsy.  I outlined my main images with my charcoal and stump.  I also added doodles with my Tuxedo Black Memento Marker.
