This magical journal layout features images and elements that I had colored ... but ... never used.   I apologize for the glare ... my gel medium is super glossy it seems.  I love using gel medium ... it shows my brush strokes and you can feel them when you run your fingers over the layout.  I like that.  {smiles}
I adore this frog.  He's been colored for months ... I just never found a home for him.  My goal for this layout was to utilize the frog ... he had to be a part of this spread.
My images are colored with Copics.  The background started with Fireworks! and a stencil.  I followed with more stenciling using Memento inks.   I finished stenciling with the black ink and a stars stencil.   I used a white wash to paint around the area where my images and saying would go.
I also snuck in an owl and a flower.  No layout is ever complete without some doodling ... that's one of my favorite parts!  Isn't it fabulous how Vera Lane Studio images coordinate with each other?!  They also size up and down nicely which is perfect for my needs.
