I'm loving this peaceful gal ... she will be a great year-round image and not just for the holidays.
This layout is the start of a new mini journal.  The quote is on the inside of the front cover and my page is page 1 in the journal.  I thought this image and color palette would be a refreshing start for a new mini.

You may or may not notice that the eyes in this shot are different than the others.  I realized, while shooting, that I didn't color the pupils black ... so I stopped and did that and then went back to shooting.  I actually like both looks ... go figure.  LOL!
This was super simple to create ... pattern paper, Copic markers, washi tape, a corner punch and a black pen.
I decided, at the last minute, to add white highlights with my white Posca marker.  Doodling is so therapeutic and relaxing ... just like this image.
I used scalloped blue velvet ribbon in the crease ... along with fern twine knotted at both ends.  And, of course, there are doodles!  {smiles}

Next week I have a gorgeous card featuring this gal and the wreath ... so stay tuned!
