#263 Tink & Tinker Journal Pages with Vera Lane Studio

Sunday, April 02, 2017

I LOVE these Tinker Sisters!  They just make me smile.  I created my background with Inktense Blocks that a friend let me experiment with.  Inktense Blocks are AMAZING and YES ... I want them all!  I'm thinking they are next on that list in my head.  {smiles}
My Inktense Block friend also introduced me to a White Uni Posca Marker from Jet Pens.  OH.MY.GOSH!  I've gone white doodle CRAZY on EVERYTHING because they WORK on EVERYTHING!  BEST.WHITE.PEN.EVER!  Marker is deceiving ... this is extra fine and it is AWESOME!  You won't be disappointed.

After all that ... I do think I'll add a touch of black back to both sets of their eyes ... ???!!  I want their eyes to be a focal point on them.
Tink and Tinker are colored with Copics and my goal was to try and be a bit light-handed with my colors.  I LOVE color and am super heavy-handed so definitely a challenge for me.
Look at these cutie Tinker Sisters ... and the sayings are perfect!
I used my Summer Sky Memento Marker to journal.  And my S Black Pitt Pen to doodle and draw lines.
And ... it wouldn't be mine without silver metallic thread and Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz!  I'm so predictable.  {big sigh}

The words are stamped with a $1 alphabet set I bought at Michael's.  It's from Hampton Art.  I do need to add adhesive to the blocks and rubber ... since the rubber fell off all the wood blocks ... but what do I expect for $1?

I LOVED making this journal layout.  Every single part.  And 'yeah me' for adding a new design style to my journal.  Right?!

xoxo,
Mischelle
