#287 Joy Clair | Imagine Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joy Clair | Imagine Crafts Blog Hop!  If you started at the beginning of the hop then you came here from the incredible Kerry Urbatch!  If you are just joining the hop ... no worries! I have all of the links below ... at the end of this post.
I have so many cards to share with this AWESOME Joy Clair stamp set Hugs and Smiles ... it's obvious I fell in love at first sight.  {smiles}
How GORGEOUS is this card ... and it was so EASY to make!  I used my VersaMark pad with gold emboss powder on watercolor paper.

I colored the image with my waterbrush and Memento inks.  Teal Zeal and Bamboo Leaves ... the perfect color combo ... and staple colors to have on hand.  The gold embossed envelope pairs beautifully with this card.
Gold metallic brings it all together with a clean, modern look.  LOVE!
How beautiful is this image in gorgeous warm colors!  I used Memento Cantaloupe, Tangelo and Morocco.
Remember to stamp and emboss the image in gold on your envelope ... it's a beautiful, easy touch that elevates this card.  This stamp is perfect for all occasions!
This image is stamped in black and embossed with iridescent powder for a nice sparkle.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper and then trimmed it out to capture its whimsical appeal.
This image is colored with my waterbrush and Memento's.  I used Dandelion and Bahama Blue.
How cute is this?!  I used another stamp in the set to stamp the envelope ... a nice little sneak peak of what's inside.  The papers and ribbon are all from CTMH.
How beautiful is this elegant card!  My image is stamped with VersaMark and embossed with white emboss powder on watercolor paper.
I cut out the image and layered it onto my vellum card.  I used my waterbrush with Cantaloupe, Morocco, Lulu Lavender, Sweet Plum and Paris Dusk Memento ink.
This energetic palette pairs so nicely with this image.  The thistle twine and gems are from CTMH.
Another vellum card with my favorite color palette!  I used teal zeal and bamboo leaves Memento inks.  The gold foil polka dot vellum is from CTMH.  The white circles are done with my White Posca Marker.
For this card, I white embossed the image onto the envelope ... making the perfect pair.
Yes, there are more images in this set!  {smiles}  I thought the bouquet of flowers would be fun for a  happy, color wheel card.  The 'Be Joyful' image and bird were a gift from Joy Clair that came with my order.  How awesome is that!  It's such a cute image ... I really wanted to use it!
I LOVE happy, colorful cards ... and this was easy to create.  For my background I cut my paper to size and then stamped each image with tuxedo black Memento ink.  I filled in each jar with clear irRESISTible which gives you a semi-gloss finish.

Be Joyful is stamped and then the bird is paper pieced.  I used my White Posca Marker and doodled away.  The white twine and dot emboss folder are from CTMH.
Thank you for stopping by ... I hope you were inspired while you were here!  Be sure to leave comments (one per blog) during these two days of hopping so you can be entered to win a one of two $25 Joy Clair Stamps Gift Cards or one of two $25 Gift Cards from Imagine!!! Winners will be announced on the Joy Clair and Imagine Blogs at the end of the month.

  10. Hugs and Smiles would be great for my
    bible journaling. The "teacher" had
us do something like the squiggles
    free-hand. Mine is terrible. This
would make up for the awful page.
thanks for sharing some great projects.
