See Ya Later Alligator by Mischelle Smith
It's been some time since I've played along with Simon Says Stamps Challenge Blogs ... but I had some time and the challenge spoke to my stamps.  The theme for Simon's Monday Challenge Blog is Inspired By Music and shaker cards have been on my mind ... sounds like an idea!
LOVE my dies from MFT ... My Favorite Things!  They make my papercrafting life SO easy!
It's been years since I've made a shaker card ... so long ago we used foam core board and fun foam to make them.  Thank you, Lord, those days are long gone! They are SO easy to make these days ... thanks to all of the fabulous dies on the market!
To add more dimension ... I used a puffy heart inside the shaker on the monster.  I popped up the head of the alligator ... leaving the back down ... to also add dimension and interest to this image.
The alligators tail is popped up also ... LOVE!
My focal points are monochromatic tones which I find pleasing to my eye ... especially for busy cards.
I kept the inside simple ... just a speech bubble sending love via the puffy red heart.
I used the colors I used on the monster and the alligator to bring unity to the front and inside of the card.
I thought this would make a darling 'lunch box' card ... such a fun surprise ... and so much fun to make!

That's a wrap!
