#382 EASY Card Front {edge to edge} Shaker Cards with Video

Hello and welcome to my blog! It's been a minute. And would you believe I'm card making like crazy?!

This past December I felt the Lord calling me to Hebrews 3:13: Encourage one another daily ... as long as it is called today. And I specifically felt a calling to make and send cards of encouragement. 365 cards ... one for every day of the year.

The Lord reminded me of my love for stationery that started at such a young age. I remember getting my allowance and riding my bike to the Hallmark store to spend every single penny on a box of beautiful stationery. Once I snagged a petal pink set that was lightly scented ... I thought it was the coolest thing EVER!

It was during this time Tiger Beat (that was THE magazine back in the day) was doing Pen Pals. Send them your name and address and they'll send you a name and address back. Debra Buckmire was my pen pal. She lived in New Jersey ... which seemed like the other side of the world from Page, Arizona, where I lived.

Debra Buckmire was the coolest pen pal. I'll never forget one of her letters that arrived in a McDonald's Apple Pie Box envelope ... who knew you could do that?! I loved having a pen pal and we stayed close for years. Sadly, we lost touch with one another. But still today I get so many warm fuzzies thinking about her and the joy that her letters brought to me.

This year I want to share that joy with others ... through card making and the mail.
