Cupcake
Hello paper crafting fans! I have to admit that my time lately has NOT been spent in my craft room which is very sad to me. I did manage to get this card done using our card layout design for a little swap this month. The paper is one of my favorites from Uptown Girl. I just love the pinks and blacks! The cupcake image is from a Mabelle RO set called CupCake Cuties. It was colored wtih Copics and then I added some Stickles. The circle stamp is from Sweet Goodies stamp set. I love this combo of the circle saying with an image popped out. Forgive me sewing machine stitches. We were not getting along very well. A tip for sewing on cards - make sure that your adhesive is no where near where you want to sew. It will gum up they sewing needle and cause lots challenges - skipped stitches, broken threads, etc. To clean a sticky needle, I use alcohol wipes - or just put a new needle in. Also once you have sewn on paper - it doesn't work too well to sew on fabric.

Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Wow - the colors on this are wonderful! Sorry about your sewing machine woes. I use a small piece in the center just to hold the paper in place. :) Great card!!
