#272 Tall Town Bookmarks | Vera Lane Studio

I'm so excited with the newest Vera Lane Studio release ... Tall Town!  This Cherry Street Collection has been SO.MUCH.FUN to design with!  Today I thought I'd share the bookmarks I created with Tall Town.  As you can see ~ this collection lends itself to bookmarks ~ and I was needing some!

First, let me introduce you to the newest collection on Vera Lane ... Tall Town:
I LOVE these images!  They are whimsical and fun and really easy to work with.
For this set of bookmarks ~ I printed my images on paper torn out of an old book.  I then layered them onto kraft cardstock.
I decided to seal these bookmarks, front and back, because the old book paper was super delicate and I don't want to lose any pieces over time.  The glistening you see is the gel medium reflection.  I also added some leaves to the cup (on the coffee house) with my Micron pen.  I stamped some old CTMH postage images onto each bookmark with Rich Cocoa and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
The circles under the eyelets are white reinforcers.  I rubbed them onto the ink pad to stain them with the color.  Next I added eyelets and twine.   And, of course ... I doodled on each bookmark with my white marker.

My next set of bookmarks are designed to fit bookmark holders I had purchased some time ago.
How cute are these?!  Again, I applied gel medium over the finished cards ... that did make them super difficult to get into the clear holders ... but I did get them there.
The backs of the cards are pieces from gelli prints.
Into the sleeves they go ..
All of my pieces were colored with my Copic markers.  I'm in love with the bright, happy color palettes!

I LOVED making these ... I hope you can tell?!  I have a few more Tall Town projects to share this week so please swing by and check out what's going on around town!

xoxo,
Mischelle
