#319 Fluttering Butterfly Card | Imagine Crafts

1.     Spritz ink with Ink Potion #9.
Today, I am sharing this gorgeous butterfly on the Imagine Crafts Blog.  The best part of this little beauty is that it flutters with every touch ... even the most gentle.  Fun, right?!
I created a super simple attachment using wire in my embellishment box.  I spiraled the wire around a pencil and covered the ends.  I then attached one end to the card and one to the butterfly.

Step 1.     Generously Ink craft mat with VersaMagic Ink.

Step 2.     Spritz with Ink Potion #9.
Step 3.  Lay stencil on top of spritzed ink.
Step 4.   Place watercolor paper on top of stencil and press gently with your fingers around the stencil.
Step 5.  Remove paper and heat set.
Step 6.  Repeat steps 1-5 with any additional colors or stencils you wish to add to the print.

  Step 7.  Stamp as desired.
Step 8.  Spatter ink onto print using a fan brush and the mixture of ink and Ink Potion #9.

The background of this card, the card front, is super easy to create.  Check out my tutorial on the Imagine Crafts Blog ... and see this little flutterby take flight!

xoxo,
Mischelle
