Flip Flop Birthday Count-Down Tutorial
Saturday, September 27, 2008
It seems that I forgot to include some of the most necessary information about making this Flip Flop Count Down! It's so EASY ... but boy ... visuals REALLY do help! Like how I punched the holes through that Flip Flop and how I bound them!
I'm so sorry! I even had the steps photographed ... I just forgot about them. (I am in my 40's now).
Here are the simple how to's for putting this all together and how I punched through that Flip Flop!
This is easy enough! Remember I used a Sizzix Alphabet that I had to die cut the numbers on Glitter Sticker Paper.
I went around the numbers with a White Opaque Gel Pen.
I punched through small stacks with my Bind-it-All to prepare them to be bound.
Next I laid one of the scallop squares on my Flip Flop and marked the holes with the gel pen.
Originally, I designed this on it's side, however, ended up re-doing it and used the end.
Mark your holes with your gel pen.
I used my Carl Drill Press to drill through the holes I had marked. My Crop-a-dile was too small to punch through my Flip Flop. The opening in the Bind-it-All was also to small to punch my Flip Flop.
I strung my wire through. Notice that the 'back' of the wire is also on the back side of my Flip Flop.
Add your inserts to your wire. The wire is open more, however, I had squeezed it in my Bind-it-All before I took this shot.
The 'little feet' face DOWN when you place this in your Bind-it-All. Hold onto your pages like I am here and then place it into your Bind-it-All with the feet facing down.
The feet are down and I'm preparing to bind.
Depress the Bind-it-All handle to close the wire.
This is after it has been bound.
The view from the back.
With inserts flipped both ways.
This may have looked intimidating but it isn't at all! This is EASY!
Enjoy!
